General Audition Information

How often can I audition?

There is no limit on the number of auditions you can attend. However, you will only be given the chance to audition once in front of the panel during a specific audition. Click here to view upcoming auditions.

I am a current SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment team member – can I audition?

Yes. However, team members must be in good standing to be considered. Please contact your local Human Resources department to determine any restrictions based on your current employment status.

Can I send in material?

Although live auditions are always preferred, you can send us your audition materials.

  • Please include headshot & resume
  • Include 5-7 minute compilation as well as updated contact information.
  • If you have multiple disciplines, put your strongest discipline first and limit your audition to 10 minutes.
  • Please note: You may be asked to attend a live callback at a later date.

May I audition or interview for more than one position?

Yes, however, you will only be given the chance to audition once in front of the panel during a specific audition. During your audition you may be considered for multiple roles. Click here to view our upcoming auditions.

What kind of audition material are you looking for?

Audition material should be appropriate for family audiences. Please refer to the specific Entertainment Opportunity page for requirements.

Do I have to attend an audition to interview for a technical, costuming, or stage management position?

No. Technical, costuming, and stage management roles are posted online at SeaWorldJobs.com. A recruiter from Human Resources will review your application and contact you regarding your application status.

Can I apply prior to attending an audition?

Yes, and we strongly recommend you do so. This will make your audition sign-in process quicker on the day of the audition. Bringing a completed liability releasewill also expedite the process. View our upcoming auditions and select the link within the audition notice to complete the application for a specific position.

How long do auditions take?

Audition lengths can vary. Please be patient with the process and be prepared to wait.

What do I need to bring to the audition?

Will my audition have a time limit?

When should I arrive for my audition?

Please plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to the call time. You will be seen in the order in which you arrive. 

What is the difference between seasonal, variable, part time, and full time?

Please click here for information on team member statuses.  It is important to note, seasonal team members must re-audition each season.

Application and Employment Process

When will I hear back about a role I auditioned for? How long will it take for a recruiter to contact me about a position that I have applied for?

Each audition timeline and process is different. You will be contacted by a recruiter from Human Resources or a representative from the Entertainment team with the results of your audition as soon as casting/hiring decisions have been made.

How long does it take to fill out an online application?

It varies by individual. Expect to spend approximately fifteen to thirty minutes completing the application.

Do I need to include a resume with my application?

Yes. The more information you provide on the application, the better. Adding a resume is helpful for the hiring team to learn more about your performance history and skills.

Are all jobs posted on your site currently available?
