2021 Scare Squad Performers

BUSCH GARDENS ENTERTAINMENT is seeking enthusiastic performers, who are passionate about Halloween, and love to scare, to spread fear and fun to our award-winning Howl-O-Scream event. As a Scare Squad character, you will join our Fear Family and be transformed by our world class makeup artists. Whether you walk like a zombie, cackle like a witch, or creep like a werewolf, we need YOU to fill our Howl-O-Scream haunts and scare zones. Don't miss your chance to be a part of this incredible event!
All interested applicants must apply online and select a specific time for their audition process prior to attending the audition.
- Applicants must be able to work long sets (multiple hours) doing repetitive movement and vocalizations
- Applicants must be able to wear make-up and/or masks
- Applicants must be comfortable working in dark conditions
- Experience is not required, just a passion for Halloween

5:00 pm: Auditions Begin
6:30 pm: Registration Ends
Prepare For The Auditions:
- Scare Squad auditions take place in a group setting where you will be asked to create a mock Howl-O-Scream experience for our casting team
- You will participate in improvisational and physicality exercises to demonstrate your vocal and physical stamina, startle ability and scare tactics
- Please wear comfortable clothes you can move in
- Please plan to allot at least 1 hour to complete the audition process
Rehearsal And Casting Information:
Production Timeline:
Applicants must be available for all scheduled event dates
- Rehearsals may be scheduled from August 28, 2021 through September 10, 2021 any day of the week
- The event runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from September 10, 2021 through September 19, 2021 with shifts beginning as early as 4:00pm
- The event runs every Thursday through Sunday from September 23, 2021 through October 17, 2021 with shifts beginning as early as 4:00pm
- The event runs Monday October 11, 2021 and Wednesday through Sunday October 20, 2021 through October 31, 2021 with shifts beginning as early as 4:00pm
Compensation:
