Entertainment Installation Technicians
Busch Gardens Williamsburg is seeking hard-working and skilled installation technicians to assist with the install and load-in of theming and décor elements for our special and seasonal events.
Experience with boom lift operation, theatrical lighting, construction, carpentry, forklift operation, or outdoor display installation is helpful. A traditional theatre background is not required.
- Applicants must be 18 years old.
- A variety of employment periods are available:
- Availability must be flexible; some shifts may include working overnight.
- Day & evening shifts are available, depending on the project.
- Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $12.20

Show Operations Technicians
Busch Gardens Williamsburg is seeking hard-working and skilled stage technicians to work on the running crews of our exhilarating shows. We are looking for candidates that have experience in rigging, lighting, audio, video, deck work, costume dressing, or pyrotechnics.
Positions include Audio Operators, Master Electricians, Lighting Board Operators, Spot Operators, Deck Hands, Fly Rail Technicians, General Technicians, Dressers, and Pyrotechnic Shooters.
- Applicants must be 18 years old (21 for Pyrotechnic Shooters).
- A variety of employment periods are available:
- Day & evening shifts are available, depending on the show.
- Applicants must be comfortable working in show areas under all weather conditions and in dark/nighttime conditions.
- Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Applicants must be able to communicate via headset and work in a team environment.
- Some positions require wearing and working in a fall protection harness, working on rooftops and working in close proximity to animals.
- If selected for pyrotechnics, you must be licensed by the state of Virginia.
- Some positions, depending on the role, may require a valid driver’s license.

- Applicants must be comfortable working in show areas under all weather conditions and in dark/nighttime conditions.
- Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds alone and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
